Etang de Trivaux, Meudon

The forest of Meudon, near Paris, France, is a nice place for a Sunday walk with the family. Autumn is a great season there with all the colors in the trees.

Etang de Trivaux, Meudon forest, 2011.

I brought my camera and made landscape shots because I was learning HDR. I tried to understand the concept using LuminaceHDR. This photo was the first which gave me a satisfying result and made me understand the process. Later, as I improved my understanding of the settings and processing, I decided to process it again. The photo above is the result of the second processing. I generated 3 images using Mantiuk06, Fattal and Drago before tuning the image in Gimp. The 3 images where staked and each layer was set to overlay.

I started learning HDR processing at the end of 2011. That was the time when I got back into photography. As the first satisfying process, I usually use it as the first post, so the first post of my new blog.

This is the location of this shot
